Long, long ago is my last hike. So something had to restart Moderate found. As offered the Wiesbaden cottage on short with a cabin boarding for the Friday evening and tours such as the Piz Buin or Silvretta tip.
Ansa and I got to the hut on Friday evening in shorts and T-shirt. It was in the heat rather strange at all to pack long pants one. In no time we were up and got in the well-stocked cabin even has its own warehouse. Unfortunately, the rest of the night, the green emergency exit sign lit in our room. a quarter to six the alarm clock rang. Still wafted around a little fog, but until we had eaten our breakfast, the fog had cleared. The bigger problem was the trendy thunderstorms in the morning should feed in from the northwest. Nevertheless, we were going once the Green dome. Before, it was to overcome a few brook. The last one was a little uncomfortable. My feet were wet, Ansa found a nice guide and a helping hand. We climbed on and the clouds moved in. on. The climb to the glacier was easy, but it looked like the inside front, rolled behind it piled up at the clouds. With the weather forecast was not a very nice view. In a storm on the glacier we could truly do without and so we turned around. Of course, was not the storm.
The afternoon was spent ancient Alpine's reading and a bit of wandering around. After dinner we wanted to actually get into bed, it was raining and was quite foggy. On the way to bed we were still Andi and Chris on the road. This was the "go to bed" until later times and only drank another beer. We originally wanted to go as early as possible, let us sleep off of the two but to persuade and later loszugehen. The really nice weather to come in the afternoon.
When we got up the next morning at 6:20, the weather was still seen absolutely nothing. Thick fog in all directions. Thus, we had breakfast once cozy and left us plenty of time to find our stuff together. But we of course, were highly motivated, Christoph ever pulled on the harness, Andi a helmet on his head and I dug out the sunglasses. The fog had not changed that much. From time to time, it ripped a little and promised hope, but was soon back completely impenetrable. Nevertheless, we were on our way to the rivers for the third time to cross. This time, hopefully not in vain. Since one of the Green hill, just before it goes to the glacier, still saw nothing, we decided to wait for now. And we waited and waited and waited and an hour later, we still saw no more, but we were now clean cold. So we decided to turn around and Rivers to cross a fourth time in vain. So we moved a bit but we decided to go over the high wheel back to the car. It is the summit toward
quite steep and we came with our oversized backpacks, at least for a normal walk, can get into a puff. One or two seemed not enough and so you put at the top then stop once and still a neat stone. However, we saw around us nothing but fog in all directions, an ascent of Piz Buin and thus not necessarily would have brought great prospects. Since then the Lake was so wonderful on the way there we took another leisurely bath, of course under a blue sky and bright sunshine. Well, what to say, we have a hill climb, no mountain that I've seen the mountains again and we had fun anyway.
